Gao Shan Wu, Certified Chinese-English and English-Chinese Translator in Vancouver Canada

About Me

To me, translation is not merely the transfer of words, but the practice of integrity — preserving nuance, tone, and intent with loyalty to both the author and the reader.

Gao Shan Wu is a certified translator in good standing with the Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia (STIBC) and the Association of Translators and Interpreters of Ontario (ATIO), and he adheres to the code of ethics set forth by both associations.

Wu serves as the sole designated translator for Translation Wizard (a.k.a. 華年詞橋譯證網 in Chinese), and is currently certified by STIBC for both English-Chinese and Chinese-English translation, and by ATIO for Chinese-English translation. He has been a member of STIBC since 2011 and an ICBC-approved translator since 2012, and joined ATIO in May 2025.

He specialises in certified translation of Chinese documents for use in Canada and internationally, including Mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Services cover immigration, education, and legal purposes, including degree certificates, transcripts, household registers, and other official documents.

All translations are completed in accordance with Canadian requirements and are accepted by institutions such as IRCC, ICES, and courts across Canada.

Wu is also a reader of Classical Chinese (a.k.a. Literary Chinese), and occasionally translates from it as well.
